Brooklyn, NY Assemblymember Robert Carroll (D-44), Democratic State Committee Member/District Leader Lori Citron-Knipel and candidate for Democratic State Committee/District Leader Doug Schneider issued a statement today endorsing each other in the upcoming Democratic Primary election.
"I am proud to endorse Lori Citron-Knipel and Doug Schneider for Democratic State Committee/District Leader in the 44th Assembly District. Lori has served our district since 1992 and been a fierce advocate for our community, especially for women and children. Lori's legal acumen and dedication to the Ditmas Park and Victorian Flatbush neighborhoods have been of tremendous importance to the District. Doug is a committed community activist and attorney who has worked or volunteered in Democratic politics for twenty years. His knowledge, skills, and vision will be a tremendous asset for the Kings County Democratic Party and the 44th Assembly District. Doug and Lori together will make a great team and I look forward to working with them on issues big and small across the neighborhoods of the 44th," said Assemblymember Carroll.
"Whether it's street safety, the environment, electoral reforms, or standing up for funding the MTA, Assemblymember Carroll has been a vocal champion on the issues that matter the most to the 44th Assembly District. I am honored to have his support and am proud to endorse Assemblymember Carroll for reelection. I am looking forward to working with Lori and learning from her vast experience on ways to improve the Kings County Democratic Party," added Schneider.
